What are cookies?
Cookies and similar technologies (for example local storage, pixels and scripts) store information on your device or read information already stored there. They make the Store work, help us understand how it is used and, with your consent, allow us to measure and show advertising.
Categories we use
1. Strictly necessary
These technologies are needed to provide the service you asked for, for example to keep items in your basket, complete the checkout, log in to your account, keep the Store secure and remember your cookie choice. They are provided by Shopify and our payment providers. They do not require your consent.
2. Analytics
With your consent we use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the Store. Clarity records page interactions such as clicks and scrolling and creates heat maps and session recordings, which we use only to improve usability.
3. Marketing and advertising
With your consent we use Google Ads and Meta Pixel to measure the results of campaigns and to show you relevant advertising, and Klaviyo to link activity in the Store to an e-mail profile of a person who has subscribed to our newsletter or placed an order, so that we can send them relevant e-mails. Giving us your e-mail address when ordering is not consent to these technologies.
4. Customer reviews
Judge.me displays and collects product reviews on product pages and sends review invitations after delivery.
Your choices
- When you first visit the Store, a banner asks you to accept or decline optional cookies. Declining does not prevent you from browsing or ordering.
- You can change or withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it: delete the cookies of seesofa.com in your browser to see the banner again and make a new choice, or write to hello@seesofa.com. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before it.
- You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary technologies may stop the basket and the checkout from working.
Lifetime of cookies
Session technologies end when you close your browser. Persistent identifiers stay until they expire or you delete them; their exact lifetime depends on the provider and your browser. Details from the providers: Shopify, Google, Meta, Klaviyo, Microsoft Clarity.
